THE BACKGROUND
Since 2015 our products have been selling successfully via direct sales in the Helderberg and Cape Town's northern suburbs.
Now made available in the retail environment via separately branded back to back dual mall kiosks Crowdfunding text and information.
My partner June began direct sales, visiting additionally staff at stores in malls and CBD areas, about 6 to 7 hours a week.
Results:
- 3 months: 210 loyal customers
- 6 months: 460 loyal, repeat customers, but leveling out at on average 2.018 sales p/hour over time.
The products were branded as A&J Perfumes. Limited sales of the Eco-Cleaner, due to logistic challenges. Antoine handled administration, order processing, and sales records.
After ±2 years, both partners realized this could become a scalable business model.
Initial plan: Launch the project in early 2018 not as direct sales but in a retail environment.
Major Medical Challenges (2017 – 2020)
- December 2017 – January 2018: Antoine was diagnosed with early-stage colon cancer.
- Underwent surgery removing 15cm of the colon.
- Complication occurred 3 days later:
- Bowels twisted (a rare 1-in-500 case)
- Emergency surgery required
- A stoma was fitted for safety
Impact:
- Lost 30kg (40% body weight)
- Had to relearn breathing and walking
- 2 years of recovery with no business activity
- Stoma removal delayed due to Covid-19 and further medical challenges.
- Planned stoma reversal scheduled for 2026.
Covid-19 Delays & Further Health Issues (2020 – 2022)
- Covid lock downs delayed business restart by about one year.
- Early 2022 market test coincided with new medical issues:
- Blocked kidney requiring urgent surgery
- Multiple kidney stones discovered
- External drainage tube fitted for 9 months
- Treatment approach:
- Citro Soda prescribed instead of laser surgery
- Stones dissolved without pain during a 3 month intense Citro Soda course.
Additional recovery:
- Diagnosed with iron and vitamin B deficiencies
- Treated with injections and supplements
- Strength returned within weeks
- Antoine reports feeling as fit as a 50-year-old
THE PLAN
Our plan is structured in three clear phases to ensure your support acts as the catalyst for a nationally scalable business model.

Phase 2: Pilot Kiosk Activation
Following a successful Jumpstarter campaign, we will leverage our validated data to secure the ZAR 3.75M "Master SA-Licensee" investment. This allows us to:
- Deploy Dual-Kiosks: Launch our signature back-to-back branded kiosks at major shopping centers. These are designed for high visibility and interlinked operations to maximize sales efficiency.
- Establish Logistics: Fully activate our partnerships with The Courier Guy and Yoco to manage national distribution and cloud-based POS payments.
- Financial Oversight: All funds and operations will be managed with 100% transparency via our partnership with CFO360.
Phase 3: National Scaling & Social Impact
Over the next 5 years, we aim to scale to 450 kiosks across South Africa.

Who am I?
- My name is Antoine Daniels. In 1966: I immigrated to South Africa from Belgium but stayed only for 2-years.
- I'm trained as:
- Civil engineer
- Architectural draughtsman
- Master builder
- My Career highlights:
- Designed and built upmarket turnkey homes and developments
- Managed multiple construction teams and project manage all the sub-contractors to complete interior finishes as well as gardens, ready to move in.
- 1980s shift due to property market slowdown:
- Published a provincial schools & sports newspaper
- Co-authored books and specialist publications, of which a 3 part booklet on international tax-planning
- In 1989: Entered franchising after returning to South Africa
- First franchise in 1989 placed beauty salons inside hair salons (innovative at the time)

- Temporarily still in Grabouw 7160, but shortly relocating back to Somerset West
