Ebrahim Abrahams

Ebrahim is a teacher who refused to let the classroom walls limit his impact. He witnessed how poverty and a lack of basic school essentials, especially uniforms and activewear, could strip a child of their dignity and academic focus. He founded Krotoa to assist. It started with a sewing machine and a mission: to provide affordable high-quality school uniforms and activewear to students in undeserved communities. What began as a community-centered apparel initiative, has, under his leadership evolved into a transformative social ecosystem. The reason for this is because he realized that providing clothes was only a temporary fix for a deeper financial wound. This realization drove Krotoa's strategic expansion into retail and fintech. As an educator, he possesses a frontline understanding of systemic poverty.
