ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This is a little tale about a small mouse who has to find the courage to help his friends.
Even a small mouse can be a hero.
THE BACKGROUND
The Mouse Mage began as a series of drawings for Inktober 2018. I added snippets of a story to go with the drawings and received numerous requests for the rest if the story. So I sat down and wrote and illustrated The Mouse Mage.
THE PLAN
As soon as I have raised enough money to pay for printing, the book will go off to the printers.
I plan to release The Mouse Mage on 30 November 2024 for purchase. It will be available in Ebook and hardcover formats.

Project FAQ
Who am I?
- I am Lesley Milne, an artist living in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa.
- I have advanced kidney failure and am hoping to receive a donor kidney next year.
- In the meantime, I hope to make my dream of seeing The Mouse Mage in print come true.
Why Crowdfunding?
- Crowdfunding is necessary to accomplish my dream.
- I have searched for a South African publisher that publishes fantasy books but have not found one, or at least one that is accepting submissions at this time.
- Printing is exhorbitantly expensive - and well beyond my unemployed means so I need your help.
- In return, I have offered rewards.
What is the plan once 100% funding is received?
- As soon as funding has been received I will take the manuscript to the printers and get the ball rolling.
- I plan to have The Mouse Mage ready for purchase on the evening of 30 November 2024.
