ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Venice Blade is my brain child that was born when I was going through a lot emotionally, fuelled by lots of pain.
Studying Fashion & Fabrics in high school developed my passion for fashion. In Africa we lack giant High Fashion brands like Gucci, Dior and sports brands like Nike and Adidas.
After high school things didn't go according to how l had planned them, causing me stress, depression and emotional instability. The combination of the former and the latter led to the birth of my clothing brand Venice Blade, with emotional pain furling my passion and motivating me.
The brand will blend streetwear, sportswear, high fashion, formal wear and haute couture all under 1 roof. This will be achievable through the brand's 3 trademarks i.e the logo, slogan, 'FOLLOW THE LEAD' and the VB monogram.
My dream is to share my story globally. I want to inspire and encourage all the dreamers worldwide on a mission that no matter what you face along the way, all the pain, obstacles, failures, betrayals, doubts and disappointments, you shouldn't stop.
You have to follow your gut, follow your heart, be unapologetic and always force and move forward till you reach the finishing line. We are going to be an African Giant in the clothing industry.
THE BACKGROUND
We are close to our debut with this amazing project but we are out of funds for the last bit. With your help, I can be able to bring my designs to life and raise the African flag high.
THE PLAN
Our plan is to launch by the end of November 2025 so that the products are ready for the festive season.

Who am I?
- My name is Nkosana Moyo, a father of 2 beautiful daughters, an entrepreneur and a self taught graphic designer.
- I am the one that designed all the the trademarks of the brand.
Where are we based?
- Gauteng, South Africa
Why Crowdfunding?
- Because it allows startup companies to raise money without giving up control to venture capital investors.
What is the plan once 100% funding is received?
- The money is mainly needed for buying Poly mailers and hang tags.
- Once the funding is received we are launching our store to the public because it's ready and we will be working with a Print on demand company so with stock we are covered.
