ScanMe - Vibes from Above is more than a product - it's an experience.
By combining wearable design with digital messages, each shirt and mug becomes a gateway to a moment of encouragement, faith or encouragement.
With a simple scan, a message appears - created to uplift, comfort and bring hope when it's needed most - right in the middel of everyday life.
THE BACKGROUND
ScanMe - Vibes from Above didn't start as something deep. It began as a fun idea - a creative way to send messages of love, proposals or surprises...a different way to connect with people.
But then life changed everything...
After loosing my sons, I found myself completely broken. I was searching...for answers, for peace, for something to hold on to. That's when I turned to God in a way I never had before.
Through that pain, I came to know His strength, His presence, and His everlasting love. I needed hope...I needed faith, because without it, the weight of everything was just to much to carry.
Then one day, standing in a queue in the bank, a women clearly saw the hurt I was going through. She touched my shoulder, and when I turned around, she told me that whatever I'm going through, will pass.." just have faith and believe it".
In that moment, something stirred in me, and I realised that like my son (who committed suicide) all of us are carrying things we don't talk about....Heartbreak, loss, feeling unnoticed, unworthy and feeling that there is no way out.
That's when this idea became something more...
A shirt...a mug...something simple, but when you scan it, you receive a message. A message of hope...A message of faith...a reminder that you are not alone.
No matter who we are, or what we go through, God is always there...He never leaves us and He does have a plan greater than we can ever understand. That's the message I need to get out there...
ScanMe - Vibes from Above is not just about a shirt or a coffee mug..it's about reaching someone in their lowest moment, and giving them a reason to hold on.
A simple scan ..... a silent message landing in the heart of someone who needs it most. Sometimes it's not about what we say out loud... its about the quiet moments where God meets us right where we are💞
THE PLAN
The goal of this project is to launch the first collection of Hope Shirts and begin sharing messages of encouragement with people who may need them most.
With the support of the campaign, the next step is to bring the refined vision of ScanMe - Vibes from Above to life.
This includes transitioning from the original concept into the new direction - with updated designs, a new logo, and a stronger focus on faith - based messages of hope.
Funding will be used to:
. Finalize and produce the new shirt designs .
. Create the "Cup of Hope" mugs.
. Develop and test QR code experiences.
. Prepare packaging and distribution.
. Help with the development of the Website and all social media.
Part of the vision is to place " Cup of Hope" mugs in coffee shops - places where people pause , reflect and often carry unseen battles.
In those quiet moments, a simple scan can turn an ordinary cup into a message of faith, encouragement and hope.
Behind every cup of coffee, is someone carrying more than they show and a heart quietly fighting it's own battles.

Who am I?
- My name is Lourensa, and I am the creator of the ScanMe - Vibes from Above, Hope When You Need It Most project. I am currently based in South Africa and have been working in the hospitality industry for many years, where I have developed a deep understanding of caring for people and creating meaningful experiences.
- This project was inspired by personal loss and the realization that many people carry silent struggles.
- I wanted to create something that could offer encouragement and remind people that they are not alone.
Where are we based?
- We are based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Why Crowdfunding?
